These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and your purchase of any products offered on it. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Purchases

Accepted Payment Methods:
We accept major credit cards and PayPal.

Sales Tax:
Sales tax is applied to purchases shipped to addresses in New York State.
Squarespace calculates applicable taxes at checkout based on your location.

Limited Editions and Final Sales:
All limited edition prints are final sale and non-refundable.

3. Returns and Damages

We do not accept returns.
If your item arrives damaged in transit, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery. Upon verification (e.g., photos of damage), we may provide a replacement.

4. Shipping

We ship domestically and internationally using FedEx and UPS.
• Domestic orders: 3–5 business days
• International orders: 3–5 business days (subject to customs delays)
• All shipments include tracking and insurance
Shiping rates will not include any applicable customs duties, import taxes, or fees based on your location. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer.

5. Intellectual Property & Usage

All content, including artwork and text on this site, is the property of Esther M. Choi and is protected by copyright law.
You may not:
• Reproduce, copy, or distribute the artwork for commercial purposes without written permission.
• Resell artwork in a retail setting without the artist’s approval.
You may:
• Display purchased artwork in personal or commercial spaces (e.g., offices, restaurants).
• Sell the artwork on the secondary market (e.g., auctions, resale between collectors).

6. Personal Information & Privacy

We collect personal information such as your name, email, and shipping address through Squarespace and for fulfillment purposes only. This information is not shared or sold by the artist. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.

7. Site Use Restrictions

Users may not:
• Scrape, mine, or harvest data from this site.
• Use this site or its content for unauthorized resale or commercial exploitation.

8. Limitation of Liability

Visual Studies LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the site or products, including delays in shipping or site downtime.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes shall be handled in the courts of Brooklyn, New York.
